This Is a WOW! Book!
I read all kinds of books, but this one is not for the weak. This is a powerful military book — so gripping, so real, that it is very hard to put down once you start.
As I turn the pages, some passages make me wish I could reach right into the story and be there to help. Other passages remind me that for these men and women, this isn't just a job. It's a calling — something deep in their hearts that becomes their entire life.
I don't have the words for all the emotions I feel while reading it. There are moments of pride, heartbreak, courage, and sacrifice on every page. At times I have to force myself to close the book just to catch my breath, and other times I have to close it because my own personal circumstances make it too emotional to continue.
This book will stay with me for a long time. It gave me a deeper respect for what our service members and their families go through.
